Who are
DDABBS?
We are a volunteer led non-profitable community sports club, accredited and affiliated to EB (England Basketball) as a 2 Star club.
We are keen to play a pivotal part in working towards West Yorkshire Sport/Kirklees PESSCL and Sport England's 2012 vision through creating school and community sports partnerships and be an open club to all.
DDABBS promotes the take-up and participation in mini basketball (Take 6) and junipr basketball through taster sessions and regular coaching sessions.
The ultimate goal of DDABBS is to provide basketball coaching within Denby Dale and its surrounding area and help develop home grown grass roots talent through our junior program. We help host and run mini-basketball 'Take6' festivals for primary schools, go into primary schools.
DDABBS will work closely with school sports partnerships and local goverment bodies to provide extended oppotunites to increase the participation in sports and basketball.
We acknowledge and appreciate the support provided to us by the organisations listed to the right.
